The perfect ending to our 2024 Summer Scheme!
Our last week of the 2024 Summer Scheme finished with a trip to Flamingoland, a PJ and Movie night at the centre, a Craft’s Day with Chris and Karren and our final trip to South Shields Surf School.
All of our summer activities this year would not have been possible without the amazing support of our community who supported us at our Wheelbarrow Race in May.
The funds raised ensured we were able to offer a variety of activities to young people in our area, providing the opportunity to try something new and fun.
We’d like to thank all the businesses who made our Summer Scheme happen –
Inspired Pots, Forum Cinema, South Shields Surf School, Haltwhistle Leisure Centre, FlamingoLand, Chris Nevis, Karren Spowart, Tyne Valley Car and Van Hire and Tyne Valley Coaches. Without all this summer would not have been possible.
Thank you also to the CYI staff, your hard work and dedication this summer has ensured all of our young people have had a safe, fun and memorable experience to remember!
And to our young people and families, thank you for spending your summer with us, trying something different and making memories! We hope you have enjoyed our Summer Scheme as much as we have!
